Robin Autopilot USA announced that it had appointed Hiten Sonpal as its chief product and strategy officer.
FREMONT, CA: Robin Autopilot USA, a prominent solution provider in the growing North American robotic mower and lawn maintenance market, announced that it had appointed Hiten Sonpal as its chief product and strategy officer. Sonpal will lead Robin Autopilot's product and software engineering functions and supervise its latest investments and current innovation efforts.
Sonpal has a strong background as the leader in worldwide product development, technological innovation, and engineering for the home robotics industry. He has even spent more than 15 years with iRobot, where he was positioned in various leadership roles in engineering. These directed investments increased the innovation at the company and made efforts to reduce time to market. His most recent position in the company was as the iRobot's lawn care program leader. Hiten Sonpal also is the founder of ParaMow/Outwork Robots. He has earned his bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Evansville and currently doing earning a master's degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
