In a new partnership, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Bis have announced the launch of Auto-mate, a new company that will offer autonomous systems for mining operations.

FREMONT, CA: The joint venture partnership combines the demonstrated operational experience of Bis in the mining sector with IAIs industry-leading in autonomous technologies. IAI has been designing and deploying robotic and autonomous vehicle and asset solutions for air, sea, and land for over four decades. Bis, is a leading Australian resource logistics, is renowned for delivering innovative logistics and equipment solutions to mining customers for more than 100 decades. 

IAIs proven automation technology for operating in heavy off-road vehicles in remote and harsh environments has been in use since the early 2000s, was deemed to be a good fit for applications in mining operations. Offering fully scalable and adaptable levels of automation, Auto-mate will provide technological solutions tailored to each mining operations requirements. With an open architecture model, Auto-mates system can connect any asset to the fleet management system, regardless of the level of automation, type, brand, or age of the investment.
