NAR Signs an Agreement with Crexi

FREMONT, CA – The National Association of Realtors (NAR) signed an agreement with the Commercial Real Estate Exchange Inc., also known as Crexi. According to the agreement, Crexi will incorporate its data into Realtors Property Resource, a database for residential and commercial realtors. The announcement came after a year and a half since the NAR’s commercial technology partner Xceligent shut down its operations.

NAR is the most prominent trade association in the United States. Its members comprise of more than 1.3 million real estate agents from all across the country, including residential and commercial brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, and consultants, among others. Crexi is a venture-backed company based in Marina Del Rey, California. It was founded by Michael DeGiorgio in 2015, who also serves as its CEO. The very next year after its launch, the company opened a new office in Miami. It has over 90,000 commercial property listings. Till date, Crexi has facilitated deals worth more than $450 billion in property value.

The integration of Crexi’s database with the Realtors Property Resource will assist the realtors significantly. The alliance is crucial in the age of evolving technology. The innovative commercial listings of Crexi are aggregated from the data collected from different sources. The integration of data will create the necessary exposure required for the NAR member listings. Crexi has also agreed to deliver their premium services to NAR members at an exclusive discount.

NAR’s councils, institutes, and societies have contributed to the different facets of residential and commercial real estate industries in the United States. The driving purpose of NAR is to assist its members in becoming more successful and profitable by leveraging its resources. It strives to be the leading force in shaping and influencing the real estate industry.
